First going out
In the evening we went out with a few people from friend accommodation and had a nice dinner. Food and drinks are very cheap in comparison to Europe. You can have a complete meal incl. drinks for 6 to 10€. After filled up our bellies we drove to the main spot to get loaded. First bar we got into called Cuba’s were got loaded, smoke water pipe and danced. Rick and Simon made contact with African Indio’s and got into a very funny dance battle. Later on at our place we fell asleep.
Drive through Tshwane
Yesterday morning Huub, Rick and me went to the traditional market and enjoy traditional food, drinks and talk to many different people. The clock isn’t ticking like in Europe, more relaxed and easy time isn’t that important and if you came an hour to late to a appointment it doesn’t matter at all. The next stop was a food market which was more like a higher class thing, but also interesting. We have a couple of beer and try a lot of sweets and African foods. A few hours later Agnes our contact person here, picked us up and we drive through the city of Tshwane. We have to lockup the doors and close the windows because of the risk to get raid. We actually don’t get a uncomfortable feeling so we just enjoy the loud voices and the black people which passing by.
